I'm here with a helpful roof rack handle solution for the Classic Prinsu and Sherpa Roof Racks. We've been personally using these for getting up to our roof mounted boxes and they offer a great budget solution to some of the much more expensive roof rack handles elsewhere on the market. This is a 3D printed handle made out of PETG which is very durable and heat resistant plastic. It's printed in 60% infill so this is a very heavy duty handle and I've tested it on my rack with 100lbs of pulling force and had no issues. I'd personally not recommend hanging a hammock off of these and just using them for a handle to get up to your roof rack.
The handle is just one piece of 3D printed plastic. I'm going to sell this with hardware or without if you're like me and have a plethora of M6 hardware. The hardware I include for a Prinsu and Sherpa rack is 4 - M6x25mm bolts, 4 - M6 nuts, and 4 - M6 washers. The hardware I include will be stainless steel to help with corrosion resistance, although I cannot provide any sort of corrosion warranty with the hardware I provide.
The depth of the handle where your hand fits is 42mm or 1.65 inches and width is 140mm or 5.51 inches, so they should be easy to grab! Overall width is 250mm or 9.84 inches and overall depth is 56mm or 2.20 inches. Distance between the inner mounting holes is 175mm and the outer mounting holes distance is 213mm.
I currently only have access to standard Prinsu roof racks, and have not tested them on a Prinsu Pro rack. So I cannot confirm fitment on the Pro racks just yet. If you require a different size or handle width, please feel free to reach out and we can create a customized solution for you!
